A few changes made to the Emerge booklet 2012
Very exclusive!!
Be featured in the inaugural issue of the emerge booklet for 2012!
The professionally printed booklet (18cm x 18cm) will be posted to selected regional, artist-run and major art galleries throughout Australia and available for purchase.
There will be an exclusive and limited print run only........

Cost? - $50 per artist (only one entry per person)
What you receive for $50:
1. The option of 1 large image or 2 smaller images on your page
2. A complimentary copy for you to keep (additional copies will be available for purchase)
3. A copy of the booklet will be posted to selected regional, artist-run and major galleries throughout Australia a (list of these will be made available on the website soon)
4. Website presence for one year on the emerge website
Cost for Back Cover? - $100 (first in best dressed) - this option is still available
Deadline? - 30 June 2012
Book launch? - 14 December 2012 at MADE Creative Space Toowoomba (7pm)

Deadline Extended!
Understanding that this is a busy time of year and for those of you who need more time to submit your entries for the Mixed Messages: A Mail Art Project and exhibition, Emerge has decided to extend the deadline until the end of November. Entry fee is only $10, you can download the form at www.emergeart.net.au under the drop down menu on the Artists Page.
The project seeks to engage the community with other Australian emerging artists to present diverse, artistic expressions in the structure of mail. Artists of all ages are welcome to use a variety of media and styles to create their works onto postcards, envelopes, mail cylinders, boxes or cardboard of all sizes. The theme is open, so you can let your imagination run wild!
The exhibition will take place in February 2012 at the Repertory Theatre in Toowoomba and the artwork deadline is Monday 2 January 2012. For more information please email Chantel billgabee23@hotmail.com or see the website www.emergeart.net.au

New Project - call to Artists
Call out to Artists looking to exhibit in a fun and unique project. Mixed Messages is a Mail Art Project coordinated by emerge, (an artist run online platform soon to be launched in early October). The project seeks to engage the community with other Australian emerging artists to present diverse, artistic expressions in the structure of mail. Artists are welcome to use a variety of media and styles to create their works onto postcards, envelopes, boxes or cardboard of all sizes. The exhibition will take place in February 2012 at the Repertory Theatre in Toowoomba. Deadline for entries is Tuesday 1 November 2011 with an entry fee of $10.
